Welcome to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Prescott, Arizon
a Campus

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott, Arizona campus is recognized and respected worldwide as a center for cutting-edge academic instruction and flight training for tomorrow’s leaders.

While exceptional pilot training is what the school is best known for, Embry-Riddle is much more than just a “flight school”. The campus offers 13 undergraduate degree programs, including Aeronautical Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Meteorology, Space Physics, Aviation Business Administration, Aviation Environmental Science, Global Security and Intelligence Studies, Aerospace Studies and Aeronautics.

At an elevation of 5,347 feet, in the northern city of Prescott, Arizona, the campus literally stands more than a mile skyward. The high elevation and mountain terrain provide flight training students experience flying aircraft in a dynamic environment. Advanced simulation technology allows students who are pilot training additional opportunities to practice and perform maneuvers more efficiently than when they are flight training in actual aircraft. After taking their sixth national championship in 2007, the Golden Eagles Flight team proved just how superior Embry-Riddle pilot training is.

U.S.News & World Report’s America’s Best Colleges ranks the Prescott Campus Aerospace Engineering program in the top three for Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering Programs (at schools whose highest degree is a master’s). Modern, state-of-the-art lab facilities and buildings focused on experimentation, fabrication, research and development enhance the experience of students in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering.

As a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott, Arizona campus, the world is wide open and the future is yours. You may dream of designing or flying an aircraft, or even a spacecraft. Perhaps you envision yourself developing a planetary rover, acting as an environmental consultant for an airport, or forecasting the weather and its impact on people and places around the world. With fully-equipped laboratories, an exceptional fleet of modern aircraft, and a rigorous academic experience, Embry-Riddle helps you go miles above your expectations.
